Opioid Prescriptions and Overdose Deaths in the U.S.

Analysis to determine if there are demographic groups or locations where fatal opioid overdoses are more prevalent, and if so, if there is a relationship between prescribing practices and opioid related mortalities in these demographics/locations.

Utilized Matplotlib to visualize opioid-related deaths per 100k population and percent change in opioid deaths by age group, and performed data cleaning and manipulation on Medicare Part D opioid prescriber data with Pandas in Jupyter Notebook to preserve relevant provider data.
